Wood and Bamboo

Wood is a building material that is obtained from the trunk of trees. In technical terms, it is the constituent element of a plant and is made up of cellulose fibres bound by a lignin matrix. It is a material with excellent characteristics of strength and resistance, widely used by man since ancient times. Different wood species correspond to different properties: different color, different density and different characteristics of the grain.

Supple and resistant, bamboo or bamboo can be admired for over a century in the gardens of the West: elegant and refined, it stands out from other plants for its vigorous stem capable of reaching very high heights (even over 40 meters).
